Attending the 25th Annual Jagannath Rath Yatra by ISKCON Bangkok

I was blessed to attend the 25th Annual Jagannath Rath Yatra organized by ISKCON Bangkok with Vishwa Hindu Parishad members on July 7, 2024. The event began at the Vishnu Temple and ended at Phahurat, featuring the deities of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra. Devotees joyfully pulled the chariot, chanting and seeking blessings.

The procession was a display of unity and devotion, bringing together people from all backgrounds. It also served as an educational experience, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Hinduism through traditional dances, music, and cultural programs. The collaborative effort of volunteers ensured the event’s success and highlighted the strength of the Hindu community in Thailand.

Attending this Rath Yatra was a spiritually uplifting experience, reminding us of the power of faith, the importance of unity, and the beauty of our cultural traditions. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to more such enriching events.
